Ms. Kuch presented “Adventures in Storytelling” to the students in grades K-2, a fun Interactive workshop with an introduction to storytelling which allowed the students to help build a story from scratch.  The workshop gave them the opportunity to choose the characters, the setting and the plot as they worked together to create the story..  This enabled the students to see first-hand the story blocks needed in the creation process and inspired them to hone in on their imagination by wearing their "Magical Writer Hats"!

Ms. Kuch presented “How to Create a Magical World” to the students in grades 3-5.  From Harry Potter to Percy Jackson, magic in literature is something readers are drawn to. But how do you start writing your own fantasy novel? Ms. Kuch spoke about writing her magical YA novel series, “The Hypothesis of Giants”, and how she incorporated magic into her writing. The workshop was interactive and students had the opportunity to try their hand at writing their own magical story.  (Go to Photo Gallery page for more photos)
